Frequently asked

What is the weight limit?
Flights are weight-limited by altitude. We ask for each passenger's weight at booking and seat the aircraft accordingly. Above roughly 500 kg combined we split the group across two rotations at no extra cost.
What if the weather cancels the flight?
Mountain flights fly only in clear conditions. If yours is cancelled we move you to the next available slot, and if no slot works before you leave Nepal you get a full refund.
Is travel insurance mandatory?
We strongly recommend it. For flights and tours it should cover cancellation and medical treatment in Nepal.
Can I do this trip privately or on my own dates?
Every itinerary can run as a private departure on the dates you choose, usually at a small premium for solo travellers and no premium from two people upwards.
What is the payment schedule?
A 20% deposit confirms your place. The balance is due 30 days before departure, payable by card, bank transfer or in cash in Kathmandu.
